Day Trips

Los Sueños serves as an excellent base for exploring the Central Pacific region.

Manuel Antonio National Park (about an hour south): Costa Rica’s most popular national park combines pristine beaches with rainforest trails where you might spot monkeys, sloths, and toucans. Allow a full day to explore the trails and beaches. Admission is approximately $15 per person, and we recommend arriving early to beat the crowds.

Arenal Volcano (3 hours north): A full-day trip to one of Costa Rica’s most iconic destinations. Hot springs, waterfall hikes, and the volcano itself make this worth the drive. Consider overnight stays for a more relaxed experience.
